Three-time Featherweight Champion Brown will once again defend his belt as the younger and faster Jose Aldo will attempt to be the next king of the ring. No one can deny that the young Brazilian is not one to be taken lightly. With his lightning fast moves and youth, it will be a question of whether the older and more experienced Brown will last long enough to deliver enough strikes and ground attacks to make the win.
It can be remembered that Aldo defeated his last five opponents through TKO's, and there are questions if Brown can withstand the fury Aldo is sure to deliver. There has also been questions of whether Aldo is intent on keeping his fights short and strong because he could not last very long in a match. In any case, the upcoming match will all boil down to youth vs. experience, lightning-fast moves vs. incredible strength, and a host of other variables that will surely make the match the best of 2009.
Both fighters have simply taken the other lightly. Brown was quoted as saying that although Aldo is young, fast , and strong, “He's just another top, well-rounded fighter.” Aldo also has said that Brown's comparison of him to Thiago Alves is nothing, “I'm not impressed.” Still, the pressure is on for both fighters. If Brown succeeds in defending his title, he will be sending the message that he will be staying long at the top. If Aldo succeeds in getting the belt, then his ambitions of an Anderson Silva-like reign may not be far off in the future.
It's going to the biggest fight of their lives, and will be the turning point of their careers. Honor and glory will be to whoever becomes supreme. Will the reigning champ Brown, with experience and strength on his side, hold on to his title? Or will the faster and younger Aldo lay claim to his throne? Who will be the better fighter?
Watch Brown vs Aldo Live Stream tonight and witness a clash between two great fighter.
